The Kitchenary Kart Plastic Pastry Brush 2pp is a pack of two brushes, each with a black plastic handle and a flat head of fine white bristles. A hole at the top of each handle lets you hang them up between uses.

One is pictured glazing a crackle-topped bun on a plate. Fine, flat bristles spread a thin layer of egg wash, milk or sugar syrup across dough and baked tops.

Suitable for: Egg-washing croissants and puffs, brushing milk on bread tops, soaking sponges with sugar syrup and glazing fruit tarts in bakeries and patisseries.

Care & Use: Wash the head under warm running water with a little soap, squeeze out the excess and hang to dry. Keep it away from hot pans and open flames, and replace a brush once the fibres start to loosen.
