The Kitchenary Kart All Purpose Laser Thermometer Regular (Temp Range: -50°C to +550°C) takes a surface reading the moment you press the trigger, with a laser dot showing where it points. Its body is about 9 cm across and 14 cm tall, small enough for a drawer by the pass.

A two-line screen with a coloured backlight shows the current figure above a second value, and three keys control the light, mode and laser. When checking hot oil or boiling water, hold it at about 45–60° so steam and smoke do not cloud the sensor. It is made for objects, surfaces and liquids, not for taking a person's body temperature.
