Aluminium Ice/Meat Hammer Heavy

A two-faced metal mallet for flattening meat and cracking ice or nuts.

The Kitchenary Kart Aluminium Ice/Meat Hammer Heavy is 25 cm long with a head about 6.5 × 8 cm: one face carries pyramid teeth for tenderising, the other is smooth for flattening. A slot at the handle end lets it hang on a hook near the butchery bench.

Its photos show lamb chops, chicken and duck breast, fish steaks, walnuts, garlic and cucumber. On a busy line that means thin chicken escalopes for cutlets, even mutton chops, crushed garlic and ice broken down for the bar.
