Unlike a planetary mixer, a spiral mixer uses a fixed spiral hook and a rotating bowl to develop dough gently and thoroughly — building gluten without overheating it, which gives better, more consistent bread and pizza dough. With a 20-litre bowl and a 1100W motor, it handles substantial dough batches while keeping the dough cool and well-developed. The full stainless-steel construction stands up to flour, water and daily washdowns, and at about 85 kg the machine is built to stay stable through heavy kneading.
